CCDC, in partnership with the City of Boise, continually assess and manage downtown Boise parking in order to drive innovative and cost-effective mobility solutions. CCDC owns and operates seven (soon to be eight) public parking garages located throughout the downtown area.   The Agency also supports and works to expand alternatives to parking such as bike share (Boise GreenBike) and Park & Ride shuttle service from the peripheries of downtown. Soon the garages will offer priority parking to certified carpools and will provide secure bicycle and motorcycle parking in select garages.

Park and Ride

CCDC and the City of Boise in partnership with Valley Regional Transit and Boise State University are running a Park and Ride Shuttle. This FREE service runs from the Elder Street Park & Ride lot (see map below) to downtown. It runs between 7am-10am and 4pm-7pm.  Click HERE to learn more about the pilot system.

Bikeable Downtown

CCDC is committed to making downtown Boise a bike-friendly city, through partnerships with Boise GreenBike to help pay for new stations, and through funding additional bike lanes in urban renewal districts.

Electrical Vehicle Charging Stations

CCDC has installed six electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in two of our downtown garages.   Three are located on the second floor of the Capitol & Main garage and three are located on the second floor of the 9th & Front garage.

Soon ParkBOI will promote carpools by moving registered carpools to the top of our waitlist for monthly passes, as well as providing priority parking on the lower floors for carpool participants.   Carpools must be registered through ACHD Commuteride.
