General Parking

What is ParkBOI?
ParkBOI is downtown Boise’s public parking system managed by Capital City Development Corporation. It includes six public parking garages across downtown.
Where are the ParkBOI garages?
Garages are located throughout downtown Boise. You can find locations and maps on the Find Parking page.
How much does it cost to park?
The first hour in all ParkBOI garages is free from 5:00 AM – 8:00 PM. After that, standard hourly and daily rates apply. Exact rates vary by garage and time of day.
Can I pay for parking in advance?
No. You pay when you leave the garage at the exit or at a kiosk inside.
What is the clearance of the garages?

Is there EV Charging?
Yes, all ParkBOI garages are equipped with Level 2 Blink charging stations, capable of charging up to 7.2 kW. The charging rate is $1/hour for up to 8 hours. After 8 hours, the charging rate is $5/hour.
Are there accessible parking stalls in the garages?
Yes, each ParkBOI garage has accessible parking stalls. Learn more about by clicking here.
Is there motorcycle parking?
Yes, there is FREE motorcycle parking on a first come, first serve basis on the ground level of the Capitol & Main and 9th & Front Garages.
Is trailer parking allowed?
No, trailers are prohibited from driving through the gates to the upper garage levels unless previously arranged with ParkBOI staff.

Are there flexible monthly parking solutions for hybrid work schedules?
Yes. ParkBOI offers hybrid and employer parking options that allow shared use of monthly spaces to support flexible work schedules.
Do you have parking options for downtown businesses and their employees?
Yes. ParkBOI offers several short-term and monthly parking options for employers and their employees. Click here for more information.
What other services are available?
ParkBOI supports carpool priority parking, secure bicycle parking (BikeBOI), and electric vehicle charging at select garages.
Hosting an event?
ParkBOI offers validations for special events such as conferences and expos. Contact ParkBOI at info@ParkBOI.com or call (208) 368-7944 to purchase parking validations or to speak with a representative.
Validations
Hourly and daily parking validations are available for purchase at the full rate ($3.00 per hour or $15.00 per day) from ParkBOI. Businesses often use these to validate their customer’s parking tickets at their discretion. Monthly Parking

How do I get a monthly parking pass?
Visit the Find Parking page to view available garages. Monthly parking availability varies by location. If a garage is full, you can join a waitlist.
Is there a waitlist for monthly parking?
Some garages have a waitlist when monthly parking is full. A team member will communicate with you about your placement and next steps when you join a waitlist.
What happens if I am on a waitlist?
When spaces open, a team member will contact waitlisted customers in order. If you accept a space, you secure the monthly pass. If you don’t respond, you may be moved down the waitlist or removed.

Payment + Access

What payment types are accepted?
Most major credit cards are accepted at parking kiosks and exit lanes as well as digital wallet options by phone.
Can I pay with Apple Pay or other digital wallet method?
Yes, payment can be made using a digital wallet, including Apple Pay, on your phone by scanning the QR code on your parking ticket.
What if I lose my parking ticket?
Contact staff or call the office at (208) 368-7944 for assistance.
Safety + Support

Is the parking safe?
ParkBOI garages are illuminated and monitored for safety. Staff can assist with jump-starts, escorts, or other needs.

Accessible Parking

11th + Front Garage
17 accessible parking spaces, located on levels 1 and 2.
Van-accessible spaces are located on level 1 near the 11th Street side and on level 2 near the elevators.
10th + Front Garage
11 accessible spaces, located on levels 1 through 5.
Two van-accessible spaces are located on level 1 near Hotel 43 entrance from the garage ramp and on the 10th Street side.
9th + Front Garage
19 accessible spaces, located on levels 1 through 8.
Van-accessible spaces are located on levels 2 through 8, next to the 9th Street elevator and stair tower.
Capitol + Myrtle Garage
8 accessible spaces, located on levels 1 through 4.
Van-accessible spaces are located on levels 1 and 4 next to the Broad Street elevator and stair tower.
Capitol + Main Garage
9 accessible spaces, located on levels 1, 2, 3, and 6.
Van-accessible spaces are located on level 2 next to the Idaho Street elevator and stair tower.
